Must know by week four if committing to the performance DAY AND TIME: Fridays 5.45-6.45 ( 5.45-7.45 for week one) LEVEL: Open COSTUME: circus, jestery, colourful ACT DESCRIPTION: This act borrows a little from the clown world to build a playful, cheeky burlesque act, with big facial expressions and bold, over-the-top makeup. Whats in our box if tricks? There will be glove peel that never ends, because under every glove is another glove. We'll pull a hanky from your bosom that just keeps coming, then we might just play jump rope with it. This act is for those ready to show their silly side and big character! Choose Your Finish Line: Our six-week courses are designed to let you deep dive into the art of burlesque, honing in on one routine over 6 weeks allowing you to experience the joy of learning burlesque without requiring you to commit to performing before you know how it feels. During the first four weeks, you’ll learn choreography, explore performance skills and build the routine alongside your class. In Week 4, you can choose the finish line that feels right for you: Studio stunners: Continue learning and enjoying the routine in class, with no expectation to perform. Stage sirens: Continue through placing, polishing and rehearsals before performing the completed group number in our student showcase.
