In this workshop, we'll explore the art of the tease through a blend of classic and neo Burlesque moves, helping you discover your own unique flavor of sensuality and charm. For this workshop we're focusing on the art of the Panel Skirt, originally invented by the Belly Dance community, you'll learn how to weave this exquisite costume piece into your routine, using fabric to add layers of intrigue, power, and elegance. The fluid movement of the skirt will elevate your tease and become a dynamic tool for storytelling or even playful parody. Together, we'll channel the femme fatales of the past, finding strength and power in our bodies as we master a jaw-dropping group choreography. What this workshop covers: How to tease and remove a panel skirt History of panel skirts Fabric play, technique and movement Strip Tease and musicality Character development Empowering group choreography Gina will be providing Panel Skirts designed to fit all body types, but feel free to bring your own if you have a preferred one.
