This workshop is for those wishing to take burlesque to the next stage but not sure how. Comps, gigs etc it can be an overwhelming place to start. Bailey will cover everything from, -Are You ready to take it to the next stage? -Applying for comps and gigs -What you need to start applying or working professionally (everything from your work ethic, etiquette to pro photos etc -What is expected of you as a professional, paid performer from a producer’s perspective -Applying, tech, backstage, at the gig and after the gig etiquette -Are your acts bookable? Am I bookable? -Am I looking to step up and entertain an audience or wanting this for personal reasons-what is your why? -The realities of breaking into the burlesque and entertainment scene in Australia and the limited work available -Discussions and answering questions on gigging in Mackay with myself (if people wish to discuss this.)
